The 17th Annual Fair Oaks Chicken Festival is an annual event organized by the Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District. The festival, which is held annually to celebrate the town’s rich poultry heritage, is a beloved tradition that brings together the community for a day of food, fun, and festivities.
This was the first time we had a booth there and people enjoyed taking photos in front of our huge rooster mural. This mural was created from a photo that I took in Fair Oaks Village of a red and white rooster.
The festival took place at Fair Oaks Park. It’s usually held in Fair Oaks Village, but with the construction in the Village, all of this year’s events have moved to Fair Oaks Park.
The Chicken Festival lasted all day and featured live music, food trucks, a beer garden featuring beer from local breweries, vendor booths, and games. One of the most popular games at the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival was the corn hole tournament organized by the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, the festival featured various activities and attractions that entertained and engaged attendees of all ages, from live music to delicious food and drinks.
