Connections Fair Oaks Fills the Limo with Joy at Their 2nd Annual Event
Nearly 100 attendees, dozens of toys, and a heartwarming mission—Connections Fair Oaks’ 2nd Annual Fill the Limo event brought the community together for a night of generosity, fun, and meaningful impact. Discover how this small but mighty group is making a big difference in Fair Oaks and beyond.
Connections Fair Oaks recently hosted its 2nd Annual Fill the Limo event on November 9th at Martin’s Famous Street Tacos in Gold River, and it was a night to remember. Nearly 100 attendees arrived with multiple toy donations, successfully filling an entire limousine with gifts for the children in the Single Mom Strong program. Thanks to Nor Cal Limousine, the toys were promptly delivered that evening, ensuring smiles for many children this holiday season.
Silent Auction Success
The event also featured a beautifully curated silent auction with 28 unique items. Every item was wrapped to perfection by Lauri Martin of A Perfect Present, whose artistic touch made each basket a centerpiece of the evening. Guests enthusiastically participated, and every auction item was sold, with proceeds contributing to the event’s charitable goals.
Culinary Highlights
Martin’s Famous Street Tacos provided a delicious buffet featuring a variety of enchiladas, homemade beans, rice, and flavorful sides. Celebrating a Big Win for Charity
The Fill the Limo event raised an impressive $5,006 for the Soroptimist of Citrus Heights, surpassing last year’s donation by $600. The check presentation will take place on Monday, December 2, at 8:15 a.m. at Windermere Signature Properties (formerly LYON of Fair Oaks) on Madison Avenue. This contribution is a testament to the power of collaboration and community spirit fostered by the Connections Fair Oaks group.
The Mission of CONNECTIONS
Connections Fair Oaks, founded in March 2023, by Rachel Griffith, brings together professionals from diverse industries to build relationships, share referrals, and support the local community. The group meets twice a month for networking and brainstorming, with members representing a variety of fields. Monthly mixers are open to the wider community, offering a fun and welcoming environment for business and personal connections. Each member of Connections Fair Oaks played a vital role in the success of this event by volunteering their time, donating auction items, and spreading the word.
