To keep things running smoothly, we reserve the right to edit or remove any listings, artist profiles, or images without prior notice. These guidelines provide a general framework for submissions, but ILoveFairOaks has the final say based on the unique circumstances of each case.

Responsibility: We’re all for keeping it real, but let’s keep it classy, too. Event listings and artist profiles should stick to a “PG-13” vibe. This ensures our platform stays welcoming and accessible to everyone in the community.
Tolerance: Hate has no place here. ILoveFairOaks will not accept event listings or profiles with slurs, epithets, or hateful comments. Period. We’re committed to maintaining a positive and inclusive space for all.
Consideration: The events you submit should be open to the public, inclusive, and aimed at building community in Fair Oaks. Stick to these guidelines, and we’ll make sure your event gets the spotlight it deserves.
Location: We’re all about Fair Oaks and the surrounding areas. If your event is online, it must be organized by a Fair Oaks-based organization. And if you’re from outside our usual coverage area? No worries—we’ve got an Out-of-Area Collaborator package just for you.
Event Sharing: ILoveFairOaks also helps spread the word across various online calendars in the Fair Oaks region. Just a heads-up: Events added to partner websites won’t appear on ILoveFairOaks if they don’t align with our guidelines.
Lead Time: Got an event or artist profile to submit? Awesome! It’ll go through our review process, and if approved, it should be live within 3-4 business days. To ensure your event gets the attention it deserves, submit it at least a week in advance.
Review Process: We might tweak your images or text for grammar, style, and accuracy to keep things looking sharp. And to keep everything consistent, all listings and profiles will be written in the third person.
Public Events: Your event should be open to everyone. If it’s by invitation only or for members only, it won’t fly here.
Event Images: Got some great images to go with your event? Fantastic! You can upload multiple photos, but make sure your Primary Image is the one you want front and center. Images should be 400×400 pixels in. JPG or. GIF format and no larger than 1MB. If the upload takes a bit, hang tight—it’ll be worth it. By uploading an image to ILoveFairOaks, you confirm that you own the rights to it and that we have permission to use, display, and share it on our site. Check out the full policy for more details.
